“Garden Song” is Phoebe Bridgers’ first new solo material since 2017’s acclaimed Stranger in the Alps, but that doesn’t mean she’s been absent the past three years — far from it, actually.
The Los Angeles-based artist’s profile has only grown thanks to masterful collaborations with indie contemporaries Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus (Boygenius) and fellow elite-level lyricist Conor Oberst (Better Oblivion Community Center), among others.
“Garden Song” didn’t come with an album announcement, but that hopefully will come soon.
