At long last, Waxahatchee AKA Katie Crutchfield has announced the highly-anticipated follow-up to her incredible 2017 LP Out in the Storm (which was SOMETHINGGOOD’s AOTY that year).
Saint Cloud comes out March 27 via Merge Records and caps a momentous period for the standout songwriter originally from Birmingham, Alabama, during which Crutchfield got sober, moved to Kansas City and adjusted her musical aspirations — as documented in a Rolling Stone piece by Angie Martoccio.
The album is circulating among the privileged class and early returns are GREAT:
AOTY contender. The last three songs may be the best songs she's even written. https://t.co/IZGn76Sant
