Lucy Dacus just released the fourth entry in a holiday-themed series of singles, but the Virginia artist clearly has another musical project on her mind:
next album is about friendship, kissing, parents, dancing, church, movies, guilt, intimacy, murder, and fear, any questions?

This was the first I’ve heard about a follow-up to Dacus’ outstanding 2018 LP Historian, and the obvious question posed by many of her fans on Twitter — “when?!” — remains unanswered.
“Dancing in the Dark” is Dacus’ take on an iconic Bruce Springsteen song. It comes after the 2019 releases of singles La Vie En Rose, My Mother & I and Forever Half Mast.
