Emerging indie folk/rock artist J.B. Boone is a big talent from a small town in Texas. “The World Shrinker,” his extremely catchy debut single about people you’re better off without, comes from the forthcoming Severe Adventures EP.

The sub-genre-blending artist — who cites Shakey Graves and Tallest Man on Earth as major influences — learned the ways of the World Shrinker from his father, who once told him: “You’re going to meet people in this life who want to shrink your world; people who want to make it seem like, without them, the world doesn’t exist.”

This song is for them.
