Dude York are dropping their new LP Falling on July 26. It’s the Seattle indie rock trio’s first full-length since 2017’s Sincerely, and follows a pair of EPs released thereafter: Halftime for the Holidays and Happy in the Meantime.
The forthcoming record represents a significant creative shift for the band, with Peter Richards (guitar) and Claire England (bass) now splitting songwriting and lead vocal duties right down the middle. For comparison, the latter only fronted two songs on Sincerely.
Check out lead single “Falling,” a Claire England joint that came out earlier this month, for a (good) sign of things to come.
