Seattle’s Dude York had a breakout year in 2017. The Hardly Art-signed trio released TWO albums: the band’s stellar LP Sincerely (#5 in our year-end countdown) and Halftime for the Holidays, a Christmas album that’s actually worth listening to. They also toured extensively, including a stretch opening for fellow breakout star Alex Lahey (check out my shitty iPhone picture from the DC9 show at the bottom of this post).

“Moon” is the band’s new standalone single, released before kicking off a month-long European tour with Bully and Turnover. It features bassist Claire England on vocal duties.
