Today’s Song of the Day falls into the “new to me/where the hell have I been?” category. New England-based noise rock threesome Perennial put out their excellent debut LP The Symmetry of Autumn Leaves in July, but the record only found its way to my ear drums late last week. It has been obliterating them on repeated listens ever since.

“La Fugue Pour Béton brut” is one of the album’s feistier songs, and one of only three tracks that eclipses the two-minute mark. Check it out below. We hope to have more on Perennial — comprising Chelsey Hahn (keys and vocals), Chad Jewett (guitars and vocals) and Wil Mulhern (drums) — in the future.
