It’s Friday. Autumn is here. But if you’re not already feeling great, don’t worry — our super-poppy Song of the Day should have you on your feet and dancing momentarily.
“Take Back Time” — a hypnotic, 1980s-infused throwback jam — is the debut single from London collective FAUX, a collaborative project headed up by songwriter and producer Josef Page, who has worked with artists like Pixx, Raye, Dua Lipa and Mullally. According to Page, FAUX was formed in the “stolen hours between sessions.” He explained in a press statement:
“FAUX was something I’d been thinking about for a long time – I’ve been writing behind the scenes for people and I needed an outlet to make music I loved without compromise. It had to be fun, collaborative and not try to be anything but just be that.”
“Take Back Time” was written by Page and Amber Simone. Listen below, and be on the lookout for future FAUX singles — two more are scheduled for the coming months.
