Today’s featured song — “Money” — is the rambunctious new single from Toronto natives The Beaches, from a forthcoming, as-yet-unnamed LP┬áproduced by Metric‘s Emily Haines and Jimmy Shawn.

There’s two major things worth nothing here — first: “Money’s” razor-sharp, Strokes-y guitar riffs (hey, someone has to do them) are glorious, particularly when set against the song’s chugging baselines. Second, the chorus is one of the catchiest I’ve heard this year — with some exclamatory “woo’s” delightfully drilling it into the brain.

“Money” portends great things for the all-girl rock band’s album to come (we’ll let you know via Twitter when more details are announced). Listen to the song below.
