NPR Music is streaming Providence-based Downtown Boys’ unabashedly-political album Cost of Living ahead of its August 11 street date. If you’re anxious for an exciting new spin on punk rock, or just not into the whole America thing right now, it’s worth a listen.

Today’s featured song — “A Wall” — is the first single released from Cost of Living, which was produced by Guy Picciotto of Fugazi. As the title suggests, it’s a sharp rebuke of President Trump’s proposed barrier between the United States and its southern neighbor, Mexico.
